PCA’s Support for SMRP Continues with a Strong Showing in 2023
Three of PCA’s experts — Dan Moss, Bruce Hawkins and HP “Red” Slater — will lead featured sessions
DULUTH, GA – October 2, 2023 – Performance Consulting Associates, Inc. (PCA), a leading provider of maintenance, reliability, storeroom and asset management solutions, today announced that three of its most highly rated presenters will deliver educational sessions at SMRP 2023, being held in Orlando, Florida on October 16-19. PCA will also be hosting Booth #201, where attendees can meet and speak with PCA’s reliability and maintenance experts.
PCA COO Bob DiStefano is also attending the conference and will be available to speak with attendees at the booth.

In the Business and Management track, PCA Senior Consultant Bruce Hawkins, CMRP, and client Cassie Nail of Pactiv Evergreen will present “A Case Study in Change Management & Work Management Adoption: Indicators of Success and Failure” on Wednesday, October 18 at 9:45 am in Room W202. This case study documents a 2-year implementation across 2 moderately sized plants, detailing what worked well, what just worked, and what we would have done a little differently including the change management and technical aspects of the program.
In the Work Management track, PCA VP of Operations Dan Moss, CMRP and Dan Quast of Greenpac will present “Having the Courage to Stick to Your Convictions Is Critical to Reliability Excellence” in Room W205BC at 4:00 pm on October 17. This presentation describes the seven-year transformation at Greenpac, from initial steps through late stage challenges that could have derailed it.
Also in the Work Management track, PCA Senior Associate, H.P. “Red” Slater will present, “MRO Playbook: It’s How You Play the Game!” In Room W303, at 8:15 AM on October 18. In this presentation, Red will cover his experiences in helping clients implement MRO Playbooks, describing their importance in creating teamwork and detailing what a playbook should include, and illustrating common obstacles to success.
